R5.11 released!
It's been a while since the last release. But today's release (codenamed "Kebab") is a quite big release. One of the most notable additions is the support for Quick Loading. Using the included Advanced Save Handler plugin, this allows the game to load the latest save and get the player where they were. It's a nice player facing quality of life improvement, since the player can jump in immediately. In addition, there are quite a lot of technical improvements under the hood, bringing better performance, stability, and a bit of smaller space requirements. Finally, to streamline the setup for Steam Proton compatible builds, the option to create these builds is turned on by default for new projects (alongside the "Protect JavaScript Source Code" option, as the compatibility issues are extremely specific).

- Supports RPG Maker MZ’s Autosave slot.
- The feature is accessible on the Bootstrap by passing the --qload command line argument.
- Added a “Player friendly version text” to the customization tab.
- This is intended for an upcoming feature. If you have a custom launcher made by me, it will use it to show the game’s version better.
- Updated dependencies for better performance and stability.
- Slight to moderate reduction is space usage.
- Slight visual update to the tool and assistant.
- Slight update to the bootstrapper’s design.
- If an image is in the game files, it will function as a splash screen displayed until the game starts.
- Starting with this release, the following changes to the default settings will be applied:
- The option "Create Proton compatible builds" (used to create Steam Proton compatible builds) is enabled.
- The “Protect JavaScript Source Code” is turned on.
- Technical improvements for downloading the required files.
- Updates for Advanced Save Handler:
- Support for the XDG variables (used on Linux systems to establish standard folders).
- Support for XDG folders will be added to the bootstrapper in a future release.
- [RPG Maker MV] Added the option to use Brotli compression for saves.

- Fixed the following bugs:
- [Bootstrapper] An error occurs if automatic removal of game files upon closing is disabled due to task misfires.
- The absolute path was set, if you pressed “Browse” and selected the file on the Metadata Editor.
- [Bootstrapper] Related to the first bug, if an updated version of the game comes with a new folder in one of the packages, the app would throw an error that part of the path is missing.
- [Cook Tool Plugin] Sometimes, the game would just close due to an error in how it gets the required information.
